Avero Therapies with Jonathon Perry

Welcome to Avero Therapies with Jonathon Perry

Now offering registered massage therapy and private yoga sessions from my home-based practice. This option is currently by invitation only for existing clients I trust and feel comfortable welcoming into my home, also open to referrals.

The space is located in King George, a quiet neighbourhood close to downtown, with free street parking and easy access from anywhere in the city. It’s calm, relaxed, and more personal, while still offering the same intentional, high-quality care — just without the clinic hustle.

While many clients seek me out for deep tissue work, my approach is always bespoke. Each session begins with a thoughtful assessment and conversation so I can tailor treatment to your goals. I take a holistic, full-body approach to care, prioritizing both effective manual therapy and a sense of safety and calm that allows your nervous system to settle and your body to respond. My goal is to help you feel grounded, supported, and at ease in your body.

I’ve been practicing since 2022 and have treated hundreds of clients, including elite athletes and performers such as the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Cirque du Soleil artists. I also work extensively with individuals managing chronic pain who benefit from ongoing care.

In addition to massage therapy, I hold a Fine Art degree and teach yoga, both of which inform my thoughtful, body-aware approach to movement and care. Outside of work, I enjoy creating pottery, camping and canoeing, traveling and road-tripping, and spending time with friends and family. I share my home with a cat and frequently foster dogs — so you may occasionally meet one of my four-legged companions.

You can still find me at Thrive Muscle Heath and Wellness on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. But would love to welcome you to Avero Therapies on Mondays and Wednesdays. Hope to see you soon.

I am a Registered Massage Therapist with NHPC offering individualized, client-centered treatments designed to help you feel better in your body.

While many clients seek me out for deep tissue work, my approach is always bespoke. Each session begins with a thoughtful assessment and conversation so I can tailor the treatment to your specific goals. Depending on your needs, your session may incorporate a variety of techniques from deep tissue work to relaxation massage, fascial work, sports massage, soft tissue therapy, or focused pressure point work to name a few. Rather than following a set routine, I adapt each treatment to support the outcomes you’re looking for — whether that’s pain relief, recovery, improved mobility, or simply feeling more at ease.

I take a full-body, holistic approach to care. Manual therapy is an important part of the work, but so is the overall experience — the sense of safety, calm, and connection that allows your nervous system to settle and your body to respond. My goal is not only to address physical discomfort, but to help clients feel grounded, supported, and more comfortable in their bodies.

I graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2022 and have been working full-time since, treating hundreds of clients. Some of my experience includes working with professional athletes and performers. Having contracts with Saskatchewan Roughriders, Rattlers and Cirque du Soleil artists where I have helped to manage injury and improve athletic training. I also work extensively with individuals managing injury and chronic pain, from marathon runners to couch potatoes, many of whom benefit from regular, ongoing care.

Clients often describe me as intuitive, approachable, and calm. Your comfort and ease are always a priority, and I strive to create an environment where you can fully relax and trust the process.

In addition to massage therapy, I hold a Fine Arts degree and teach yoga, both of which inform my thoughtful, body-aware approach to movement and care. Outside of work, I enjoy creating pottery, spending time outdoors camping or canoeing, traveling and road-tripping, and being with friends and family. I also share my home with a cat and frequently foster dogs — so you may occasionally meet one of my four-legged companions.
